- He led Lila to his car as they each dealt with their own coma patient. Lila had the tougher time with the stumbling Freya. Ruby was basically back to bed the second she was in his arms. Back at the car, he helped both of them into the back seats, locking in their seatbelts for the ride ahead. Lila apologised again as she climbed into the front passenger seat.
- "It's fine. Seatbelt on." Henry said, pulling out but driving in no meaningful direction. "Where am I headed?"
- "I don't know." Lila said, just the answer he was searching for. "I couldn't call anyone else. Ruby's parents are on holiday and Freya was supposed to be staying there but her keys aren't in her bag and we don't know where she lost them. Freya's mum would flip if we showed up like this but I can't take them home because my grandparents are using my bedroom and I am literally sleeping on the couch while they visit."
